While in Seattle, we got to hang out with a good friend and her very creative family who took her photos. We laughed and had such a great time! There is nothing like a baby in tutu :)

Opening of Light Rail in Seattle

Finally! We made it back up to Seattle especially to see the opening of light rail. Trevor worked on this project (specifically the Beacon Hill portion) the majority of the 7 years that we lived in Seattle. This was the weekend to see the fabulous finished product!

We stayed with our good friends Alison and Jesse. They treated us to a fantastic BBQ and we all took turns playing with Kiera on the floor. She has taken to chewing on shoes. (As a result of that and her ability to crawl the entire length of the house, picking up every spare piece of lint or bundle of cat hair, we've decreed our house a shoeless one! Now we take our shoes off and put them in a cubby just inside the door.)

Kiera was treated to some of our favorite haunts in the area. We had coffee & crepes at Javasti, took a walk around Greenlake, got pictures in front of the troll under the bridge in Fremont, and even made it to our prized Indian restaurant! She was a champ every bit of the way!

Posting Frustrations

I apologize for the notes incorporated into the blog. When I write them up, they are nestled right next to the picture that matches the description. I even check it and change it when I look at the preview. Somehow by the time I get to see the post, the descriptions are somewhat comically and yet terribly far from their intended location. If anyone has any insight as to how I can work with this blog better, I would appreciate the input. Otherwise I will be sure not to use this sight in the future!
